Australian Women of Grace

In her first book Robyn tells the life stories of five ordinary Australian women who have lived through a range of life experiences - from the depths of depression, cancer and sexual abuse, to the heights of being presented to the Queen, becoming a member of government and enjoying high table at Oxford. These women represent the many who do not make headlines but who in their daily living, by the grace of God, overcome obstacles with courage and change things for the better in their corner of the world.

Dr Barry Chant writes:

Through this book, Robyn Hipkiss has allowed other women to share with her in opening their hearts and lives to tell their stories - stories of how they, like her, have proved that no matter how painful the past or how daunting the future, the grace of God is sufficient for every need.

Australian Women of Courage

In this sequel to her first book, Robyn tells the stories of another five Australian women who courageously pushed through personal barriers to conquer new horizons. These women have overcome obstacles - such as anorexia, ill health, the death of loved ones, separation, divorce and being declared clinically blind - to go on to lead full and fruitful lives. The women in this book are not 'super-women' - they are ordinary women who have embraced life. Their stories inspire us to accept, as they did, the challenge to achieve our dreams.

Dr Barry Chant writes:

Robyn Hipkiss has again unearthed five dramatic and moving tales of ordinary women doing extraordinary things. Robyn allows the writers to speak for themselves, reflecting their diverse characters in their diverse styles. But one common factor prevails throughout - the quality of courage, not just of the women concerned, but in many cases of their families, too. Add to this a large dose of faith in a loving and caring God, and you have the key, not just to the survival of the women whose stories are told here, but to their ability to prevail in the face of extreme adversity with courage, confidence and conviction.

Inspiring Stories of Life & Faith

Robyn's third book is part of the Inspiring Stories Series published by Ark House Press. Robyn has once again gathered a collection of remarkable present-day stories of men and women from all walks of life who have discovered the power of God’s love and grace. You will be inspired as you read of Taiyo’s liberation from a life of crime and drug abuse on the streets of Sydney, Paula’s miraculous escape from a devastating bushfire, and Alec’s dramatic flight from Hungary under the grip of Communism in the 1940s. Barbara tells of her year as a nurse in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, while Heather describes the two years she spent as a missionary nurse at a remote outback Mission Station in central Australia in the 1960s. The common thread that links these, and each of the people in this book, is their relationship with God and His grace which enriched their lives, giving them a purpose for life and faith for the journey.
